The little town of Fayette used to be a perfect place to raise a family and grow old in. Not anymore. It is now a town with murderers, arsonists, molesters, drug dealers and thieves.

I used to be proud to tell people I was from Fayette, but now I just say I’m here because nobody wants to buy my house so I can move.

With the increase in crime, I don’t blame anyone for not wanting to buy a house here.

While I wait to escape this crime-ridden area, I will keep everything under lock and key, and protect my property any way I have to. I urge all other town residents to do the same.

I’m thinking a move to New York City would be a safer place than living in Fayette, Maine.
