March for Babies, the annual fundraiser for the March of Dimes, was
held on Sept. 20 at Hosmer Field in Rumford. The Rumford Hospital team
that raised $1400 for the March of Dimes included, front, from left,

Gilbert, Blaine Viger and Paula Voter. The
March of Dimes funds research and education to prevent birth defects
and prematurity. Following the walk, many of the walkers enjoyed lunch
prepared by Paula Voter and her grandson Blaine Viger, who was born
prematurely.
