LEWISTON — The Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope and Healing will offer a free six-week spiritual coaching course titled “Tools for Intentional Living and Transformation.” The course will run from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays, beginning Oct. 13, in the Radiation Oncology Conference Room at Central Maine Medical Center.

Teresa A. Schulz will lead the course. Schulz received a master of arts from the Franciscan School of Theology in Berkeley, Calif., and received her post-masters certificate in spiritual direction from The Mercy Center for the Healing of the Whole Person located in Colorado Springs. She is a spiritual director, lay theologian, retreat facilitator, lecturer and author. She has also served as a hospital chaplain providing spiritual and pastoral care to patients and families at end-of-life.

Due to the progressive nature of the course, the Dempsey Center requests that participants make every effort to attend all sessions. The course is free and light refreshments will be provided. Preregistration is required by calling The Dempsey Center at 795-8250 or 1-877-336-7287. For more information, visit wwwdempseycenter.org.
