NORWAY — The Norway Recreation Department will sponsor an after school bowling program starting Thursday, Oct. 15, for seven weeks. The registration fee is $10 and must be paid at the time of registration.

There will be a weekly fee of $5 to be paid at Hobbs Lucky Lanes each week the child participates. The fees include shoe rental and all the strings the child can bowl in the allotted time. Children may bring a snack or make purchases at the vending machines or snack bar.

Bowlers in grades two through eight may register as a team of four or individually. A SAD 17 bus will pick the students up at the Guy E. Rowe School and transport them to Hobbs Lucky Lanes. Parents are to pick their children up at the bowling center by 4:30 p.m.

Students in kindergarten and grade one may participate if accompanied by an adult. Students who do not attend Guy E. Rowe may also participate, but must provide their own transportation.

Registration forms are available at the Norway Town Office or go to www.norwaymaine.com. For more information, call Norway Recreation Director Deb Partridge at 743-6651.
