WATERFORD — A fundraiser for the Waterford Library will kickoff on Sunday, Oct. 11, during the Waterford fall foliage road race. Raffle tickets will be on sale on the Common for the American Girl doll Rebecca Rubin, 1914, with the accompanying book.

Tickets are $5 each or five for $20, and will also be available in the library after Oct. 11. The drawing will be held at the annual library holiday open house on Saturday, Dec. 19. Funds raised by the American Girl raffle will go towards book purchases for the children’s collection in the library.

The drawing for the library’s summer raffle of a signed, numbered and professionally framed giclée print, “Keoka,” by Waterford artist Nancy Engdahl will also take place on the Common around noon on Oct. 11.

Tickets are available in the library through Saturday, Oct. 10, and will be on sale on the Common in the morning of Oct. 11 until the drawing. One ticket is $5 or five tickets are $20. The proceeds will help preserve the historic library building.
