OXFORD — A yard sale to benefit His Place Teen Center will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 7 through 14 on Route 26 next to the fish market.

A fresh trailer of merchandise will be brought in every day throughout the sale. Items will include furniture, Christmas items, dinette sets and other household articles.

Donations are accepted. Leftover yard sale items can also be arranged for pick-up; contact Bert Rugg at 515-3000.

The Alpha and Omega Thrift Shop, located on the lower level of the Norway/Paris Solid Waste Facility, 39 Brown St., Norway, is also open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Items for sale include electronics and household merchandise. Proceeds benefit the teen center.

His Place Teen Center, a nonprofit ministry outreach, is entering its 18th year of operation reaching boys and girls ages 11 to 18 in the Oxford Hills and surrounding area. Contact Rugg at 515-3000 or 743-9503 to arrange a donation or for volunteer opportunities.
