If any church is going to contribute money and resources to a referendum question on the ballot, then they should lose their tax-exempt status. That includes people on loan to an organization opposed to a referendum question.
The time has come for the state election commission to investigate the Catholic diocese and see if, in fact, they are violating the law through their opposition to Question 1.
