LEWISTON — The third annual Thrill the World Maine, a worldwide simultaneous re-enactment of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” dance, will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee.

All those attending are encouraged to dress up as zombies and other
creatures of the night to help create the proper ambiance for the
evening’s festivities.

The doors will open at 6 p.m., when staff will further transform participants through face painting. The dance will
be taught by area dancers and a core “thrill team” from 6:30 to
8:30 p.m., when dancers will join together with the rest of the world to perform
“Thriller.”

There will be a $5 entrance fee to participate, and all the money will be used to support the continuation of the arts at Trinity Catholic School.

All those who register and participate in this event will be working toward setting a new world record for the largest ever dance to “Thriller.” If you are interested in participating in this event, or volunteering to help, please e-mail Jocelyn French at ttw09maine@gmail.com or call  513-8067.
