Doris Y. Lalemand
1928 – 2009
AUBURN — Doris Dolly Y. Lalemand, 81, of Turner passed peacefully after a long battle with Alzhiemer’s on Sunday, Oct. 11, with her family at her side at Clover Manor.
She was born in Drummond, N.B., Canada, March 9, 1928, a daughter of the late Leonard and Albertine (Caron) Violette. She married Ralph Lalemand on Dec. 4, 1948, and together they raised a wonderful family. She was a homemaker and the secretary for Ralph’s Construction, her husband’s family business. She had several hobbies such as traveling, camping and playing cards. She also enjoyed being outdoors, having friends and family over to her home and buying and selling antiques.
She is survived by her two daughters, Glenda Clark and companion, Butch Quimby, of Turner and Kim Redmun and husband, Scott, of Turner, three sons, Wayne Lalemand and wife, Corinne, of Turner, Russell Lalemand and wife, Debbie, of Leeds and Gary Lalemand of Turner; three sisters, Vickie LeRiche of Auburn, Gertrude Murphy of Concord, N.H., and Jeannine Hess and husband, Richard, of Port Edwards, Wis.; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband; two grandchildren, Sara May Clark and Nathan Lalemand; and several brothers and sisters.
