1940 – 2009
LEWISTON — Ralph L. Berube Jr., 69, of Walnut Street in Lewiston, died unexpectedly Friday, Oct. 9, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Lewiston, March 31, 1940, a son of the late Ralph Berube Sr. and Mary Pouliot. He was educated in local schools and remained a lifelong resident of this community.
He was a military veteran having served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the 1950s. One of his favorite enjoyments was that he loved watching sports with good friends. He was a hard worker and a wonderful brother with a big heart who always gave whatever he could.
He leaves a brother, Roger Berube of California; two sisters, Sylvia Freeman of Connecticut, and Rachel Holland of Arkansas; four cousins, Norman Breton of Florida, Leo Allaire of Maine, Lorraine Bisson of Maine, Lorraine Weston of Maine; an aunt Leda Allaire of Maine; nieces and nephews, Michael Berube of Maryland, Shelley Berube of California, Donna Aldrich of Maine, Paul Moore of Italy, Jill Brunelle of Connecticut, Warren Moore of Tennessee, and Jennifer Berube of California.
He was predeceased by his father, Ralph Berube Sr.; and his mother, Mary Berube.
