AUBURN — The New Auburn Senior Citizens will host a harvest dinner with all the fixings at noon Wednesday, Oct. 21, at the St. Louis Church basement hall, Dunn Street. The dinner is for members only. Cost is $4 and tickets must be purchased by Thursday, Oct. 15.
The regular meeting was held on Oct. 7, with Virginia Levasseur, president, presiding. October birthdays were celebrated and small gifts given.
New members introduced were Margaret Danforth, Julie Madore, Lee Jacques, Marie Banville, Aline Poirier and Laurette Morin.
The 50/50 winner was Irene Delorme; pot of gold, Helen Marsh, Jeannette Lafrance, Gert Cote, Marie Gagnon, Bob Morin and Don Doyon.
An overnight trip to Mohegan and Foxwoods on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 26 and 27, is planned. Cost is $102 each person. Call Jean at 784-5264 for more information.
The next regular meeting will be Wednesday, Nov. 4. Those who are able to make a cake for the Thanksgiving dinner to be held on Thursday, Nov. 19, call Ginger at 783-0273.
