Fall festival

LEWISTON — Montello School will hold a Fall Festival from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at the school, 407 East Ave.

Attendees can dunk the mystery celebrities in the
infamous dunk tank or bounce around in the bouncy house. There will be
popcorn, nachos, pizza and home baked goodies. There will be face
painting and a raffle basket. Participants may also get a souvenir
Montello T-shirt featuring the famous Monty Eagle.

Finance training

LEWISTON — Women, Work, and Community will offer a free “Financing Your Future” training from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays, Oct. 20, 27, Nov. 3, 17 and 24, at the YWCA, East Avenue.

Participants will explore attitudes and beliefs about money, look at their current financial situation, create a savings plan and discuss wise use of credit. Attendees will learn money management tools and budgeting ideas to help meet personal financial goals.

Sodality

LEWISTON — The Holy Family Ladies of St Ann Sodality, Prince of Peace Parish, will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, at
the Parish Hall. Doors will open at 6 p.m. Presiding over the meeting
will be the newly elected President of the Sodality, Anita Grenier. A Halloween bingo will be played after a short business meeting.
Refreshments will be served.
