AUBURN — Auburn Art Club members will vote for their favorite photographs taken by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Maine Auburn-Lewiston Clubhouse members at the next Art Club meeting. The meeting will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19, in the Auburn Public Library.
About 60 photos will be displayed, with 13 to be included in the Boys and Girls Club 2010 calendar. Andie Hannon, unit director of the Boys and Girls Club of Southern Maine, will display the photographs and describe the boys’ and girls’ photography and hiking programs.
Louise Reynolds is the chairwoman of the program committee with June Spear, Lillian Coombs and Verona Crafts. They will serve refreshments after the program. The Auburn Art Club is composed of 50 women who meet from October through April in various public locations in Auburn. The purpose of the club is to encourage the arts throughout the community. Judy Johnson is president.
