Pete and Sandy Doyon

LEWISTON — A surprise party was held recently for Pete and Sandy Doyon of Lewiston on the occasion of their 25th wedding anniversary. The event was planned by their daughter and son, Ashley and Chris Doyon, and the parents of the couple, Mr. and Mrs. Don Doyon and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sutton. The event was held at the Jacques Cartier Club in Sabattus.

Wedding pictures were displayed on each table along with lit up vases with red and white carnations. A cake, featuring a picture of the couple, was served. A guest quilt was featured, with original wedding pictures, which was signed by the nearly 100 guests attending. Ron Berube was the toastmaster.

Mr. Doyon and the former Sandy Sutton were married Sept. 14, 1984, at Holy Family Church in Lewiston.

Mrs. Doyon is employed at McKesson in Lewiston and Mr. Doyon is employed at General Electric in Auburn.

Original wedding guests present were Laurie Gendreau, maid of honor; Ronnie Berube, best man;, Lisa Young, Eileen Doyon and Donna Sears, bridesmaids; and Dan Doyon and John Scott, ushers.
