Society meeting

POLAND — The Poland Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, at the Old Schoolhouse, Route 26. Barbara Strout will present a program on the Temperance Society which existed in Poland early in the 20th century and will present some of the songs which were sung at the time. The society will be led in song by Bill Eldridge, accompanied by Louise Roberts on the keyboard.

Following the presentation, refreshments will be served and there will be a short business meeting. The public is invited to attend.
