Irene Beaulieu
1911 – 2009
LEWISTON — Irene Beaulieu, 98, of Lewiston passed away on Oct. 16, at d’Youville Pavilion.
She was born in Lewiston, Aug. 9, 1911, the daughter of Adelard and Amanda (Sirois) Beaulieu.
She was educated in Lewiston schools and worked all her life in various shoe factories. She enjoyed shopping and playing cards. She was a member of the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul.
She is survived by two sisters, Sister Juliette Beaulieu of St. Joan of Arc., Canada, and Rita Chenard of Lewiston; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Joseph and Leo Beaulieu; and five sisters, Yvonne Beaulieu, Marie Jeanne Bedard, Lucille Chaloux, Graciosa Galarneau and Sister Dorothee Beaulieu.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to the nurses and staff of d’Youville Pavilion as well as to Beacon Hospice for the wonderful care they provided for Irene.
