Marie A. Langelier

AUBURN — Marie A. Langelier, 97, formerly of 180 College St., Lewiston, died Sunday, Oct. 18, at Clover Health Care Facility, after a long illness.
She was born in Lewiston, Aug. 9, 1912, the youngest of 17 children to Nathaniel and Amanda (Bolduc) Langelier. She was educated in Lewiston schools and was employed many years as a shoe shop worker.
She was married to Wilfred Langelier, who passed away Feb. 24, 1965. She loved to crochet, making slippers to give away to her nieces and nephews and many afghans to share with family and friends. She was a parishioner of the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul.
She is survived by a godchild, Lionel Meservier and his wife, Janine; many nieces and nephews; and also her caregivers, Jeannine and Claude St. Pierre.
The family wishes to thank the staff on Resident Care A at Clover Health Care Facility for the excellent care they have given to Marie during her illness.
