SOUTH PARIS — Oxford Hills Christian Academy will hold its second annual Harvest Banquet and Auction on Saturday, Oct. 24, at Four Seasons Banquet Center, Main Street. Doors will open at 5 p.m. The evening will begin with a silent auction, during which time hors d’oeuvre will be served, followed by a buffet dinner presented by local chef Joel Kane.
Entertainment will be provided throughout the evening by local musicians Sarah Johnson and Amanda Larue, and a repeat performance by last year’s band. The meal and entertainment will be followed by a live auction with auctioneer Jerry Major.
Some of the items being auctioned include a cord of wood, hand made quilts, furnace cleaning, gift certificates to restaurants and local businesses, jewelry, sports tickets, a propane heater, tickets to the Maine State Ballet Nutcracker performance, a camping weekend, a Blue Tooth bundle and many other items.
Tickets for the event cost $25 and are available through the school office. Oxford Hills Christian Academy is a multi-denominational private school serving grades kindergarten through 12 in the Oxford Hills region.
