Jonathan W. Mitchell

1943 – 2009

LEWISTON — Jonathan W. Mitchell, 66, died at Central Maine Medical Center on Sunday, Oct. 18, of complications from ALS. 

A son of Woodrow and Ella Mae (Emerson) Mitchell, he was born in Bath and move to Litchfield early in his life.

He worked for a short time in the shoe shop. In 1970, he started working for Noyes Tire Co. and ended his career at Stratham Tire Co.; 38 years in the tire business.

He married Carole Fuller in 1970. He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Rachel Morin and Mary Mitchell; two grandsons, Stephan and Julien; a sister, Naomi Ball; and three brothers, David and his wife, Winnie, Samuel and his wife, Martha and Stephan and his wife, Jan.
