LEWISTON — The Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope and Healing distributes handmade Caring Cards to cancer patients and is offering a free Stamp Camp workshop from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at 12 High Street, Conference Room H, on the Central Maine Medical Center campus.

Dempsey Center Caring Cards leader Barbara Richard will encourage participants to tap into their inner artist through stamping. No experience is necessary to join. Materials will be provided, but participants may bring their own.

The workshop is limited to 15 participants and preregistration is required. Registrants are advised to bring a lunch; beverages and dessert will be provided. To preregister, call the Dempsey Center at 795-8250 or toll-free at 1-877-336-7287.
