Margaret M. Lagerson
1916 – 2009

AUBURN — Margaret M. Lagerson, 93, passed away on Oct. 20, at the Hospice House.

She was born in Weld, Feb. 16, 1916, the daughter of Lewis and Harriet Masterman Pratt. She was a graduate of Weld High School in 1934, and the Maine General Hospital School of Nursing in 1938.

She married Harold N. Lagerson in Bethesda, Md., in 1944. She worked for many years in maternity at Central Maine General Hospital in Lewiston.

She is survived by four stepchildren, Bill Lagerson of Lewiston and Chandler, Ariz., Jean Johnston of Houlton, Joanne Lagerson of Nashville, Tenn., and June Benner of Steep Falls; and many stepgrandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband in 1980.
