Zumba

TURNER — The second session of Zumba classes sponsored by MSAD 52
Adult and Community Education will begin on Tuesday, Oct. 27.
Participants can sign up for both Tuesday and Thursday classes, held
from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., or select only one night.

A class is also scheduled from 4 to 5 p.m. Thursdays. To register, call the Adult Education office at 225-3478.

Bridge play

LEWISTON — The Lewiston-Auburn Bridge Club winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on Oct. 20 were as follows: first, Patricia Garcia and David Lock; second, Nancy Lindgren and Fred Letourneau; third, Luke Merry and Mike Quinn; fourth, Roger Labbe and Larry Fortier. First in B, Roger Labbe and Larry Fortier; second, Richard Balian and Pete Cummings.

Winners at Schooner Estates in Auburn on Oct. 21 were: first, Alberta Turner and Lue Bilodeau; second, Luke Merry and Paul Barber; third/fourth tie, Rosemarie Goodwin and Sherrie Hinckley with Jeanine Kivus and David Lock.

Games are played at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Multi-Purpose Center and at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Schooner Estates. A partner is guaranteed. Call Rosemarie Goodwin at 754-1431 for information about all duplicate bridge games in the area.

SHAREcenter

AUBURN — The SHAREcenter on Academy Street, hosted the
first of several after school workshops for children in grades two through six on
Sept. 23. The children created personal photo
albums using materials donated to the SHAREcenter. Call 795-0972 for more information about future
workshops. The next workshop will be held from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28. Participants will
create rain and story sticks. Cost to attend is $2.
