NORWAY — The MaineHealth Learning Resource Center at Stephens Memorial Hospital has announced a training class for course instructors for Living Well to be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Thursday, Oct. 26 to 29, at the Southern Maine Agency on Aging.
The free training, with all materials provided, teaches instructors how to facilitate a Living Well class. Living Well is a six-week program for anyone living with a long-term health problem such as asthma, arthritis, COPD, diabetes or obesity. During the class, participants will learn how to set goals that are doable, find ways to relax, manage stress, find support and solutions to problems and make daily tasks easier.
