Whether common-law or officially recognized, heterosexual marriage is unique. There is nothing like it. Without our biological parents, we would not be here. Each parent embraced the opposite sex, accepted an unknown future, and gave another generation life with a shared DNA in humanity’s continuing genealogical history.

A “yes” vote on Question 1 honors our parents’ contribution to life and love, and affirms the eternal creator spirit in grace and truth.
