On Nov. 3 Lewiston voters will have the opportunity to elect Mark Paradis as mayor. Paradis has several years of public service experience, having served on both the Planning Board and the Lewiston City Council. I have known him for many years and know that he is dedicated to making Lewiston a better place to live.
The current situation that exists at City Hall must change. People need to remember that prevailing attitudes and actions have resulted in lowered morale for city employees, economic development has been affected, and the public image of Lewiston has been damaged.
It is time for new leadership.
Paradis will bring an attitude of “we,” not “me,” and “us,” not “them.” He is strongly committed to teamwork and working together. He will restore civility and respect to Lewiston city government.
