Kelsey Nicolas was initiated into Phi Sigma Biological Sciences National Honor Society at Endicott College in Beverly, Mass. She is the daughter of Jones and Bonita Nicolas of Auburn.

Phi Sigma Biological Sciences Honor Society was founded at Ohio State University in 1915 for the purposes of promoting research and academic excellence in the biological sciences. Membership in Phi Sigma is not merely for recognition of academic excellence and achievement; it also serves to further develop interests, knowledge and opportunities in biological sciences.
