Frank Ray Huston Jr.
1947 – 2009
SEARSMONT — Frank Ray Huston Jr., 62, died unexpectedly Oct. 30, at his home in Searsmont.
He was born in Lewiston on Sept. 9, 1947, the son of Frank Ray Huston Sr. and Lula Mae Whorly Huston. He graduated from Edward Little High School in Auburn in 1966.
Frank, a U.S. Air Force veteran who served during the Vietnam era, was an electrical engineer of aircraft. Frank and his wife of 3½ years, Cynthia A. Huston, both enjoyed fellowshipping with The Way International, a Biblical Research Teaching and Fellowship Ministry, for many years.
He worked for 27 years at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard and retired six years ago. He also ran his own business, working privately on refrigeration, air conditioning and electrical appliances. He enjoyed reading the Bible and visiting with friends and family. Frank was a very hard-working man.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia A. Huston; a son, Billy J. Huston of Sanford; two daughters, Lori Huston of Sanford, and Alice Chevaliers and her husband, David, of Sanford; nine grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by three sisters, Connie Lagrange and husband, Robert, of Turner, Frances Brown, his twin, of Buckfield, and Thelma Gurschick and her husband, Wayne, of Turner.
He was predeceased by both of his parents; and his youngest sister, Tina Huston.
