MEXICO — The newly formed Lithuanian Heritage Club of Rumford-Mexico
will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, at Mountain Valley Middle School
on Highland Terrace.

The purpose of the meeting will be to follow-up on the Lithuanian
Heritage picnic, which was held in September and to discuss the future
direction of the club. The picnic was a success with more than 100
people in attendance, some coming from as far away as Chicago, Ill. and
Bridgeport, Conn.

The meetings are open to all area residents of Lithuanian descent or
others interested in learning more about Lithuanian history and
culture.

The mission of the club is to share, enjoy and preserve family,
social and cultural traditions of ancestors that could otherwise be
