FARMINGTON — Members and friends of Old South First Congregational Church, UCC, Main Street, are busy with preparations for the annual Harvest Supper. The benefit buffet style supper will offer roast turkey and baked ham, with mashed potatoes, squash, onions, rolls, cranberry jelly, beverages and homemade pies for dessert.

The supper will be served from 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at the church. The cost is $9 for adults and $5 for children under 12 years of age. Special family pricing will be available.

Proceeds from the annual Harvest Supper benefit the church’s youth camp scholarship program. The program provides youth of Old South Church families financial assistance to attend the Maine UCC Conference summer church camp, Pilgrim Lodge, located on Cobbosseecontee Lake in Litchfield. Hundreds of youth have attended Pilgrim Lodge with scholarships made possible by the annual Harvest Supper since the scholarship program began.

For further information about the supper or Pilgrim Lodge, contact the church office at 778-0424.
