Harvest supper

LIVERMORE FALLS — A public harvest supper and food sale will be held at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at Eaton Memorial United Methodist Church, 28 Church St. The menu will include ham, potato, vegetables, biscuits and pies. The cost to attend is $6 for adults;
$3, under 12; free for 5 and under.

Band concert

LIVERMORE FALLS — A big band concert featuring the Opus One Big Band will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, at Eaton Memorial United Methodist Church, 28 Church St. The concert is free and open to the public. A
free will offering will be taken. There will be a reception and refreshments after the
concert.

Sale and supper

JAY — The North Jay Grange will hold its annual holiday food
and craft sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at the grange, corner of Route 4 and 17, North Jay. There will also be a public supper from 4 to 6
p.m. The menu will include baked
beans, casseroles, turkey or chicken pot pies, cranberry sauce, salads,
cole slaw, beverages and dessert. Dinner music will be provided by “Flash” and Tina

Rummage sale

WILTON — A community rummage sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Saturday, Nov. 7, at the First Congregational Church on Main Street. Items will include clean, used clothing and
household items in good repair. Donations of items may be brought to
the church from 9 a.m. to

Veterans ceremony

FARMINGTON — The Farmington Baptist Church, 194 Whittier Road,
will host a Maine State Veterans’ Recognition Ceremony on Saturday, Nov. 7. Veterans from
all branches of the military who have honorably served will be recognized with either a certificate, bronze, silver
or gold star honorable service medal and certificate, according to their
situation. Registration will begin at 2:30 p.m. and the ceremony will begin
at 4 p.m. There will be a baked bean supper following the ceremony. To participate, contact Tom
Saviello at 645-3420. Veterans who received recognition last year are
also invited to attend.
