Lorraine M. Arsenault
1928 – 2009
FALMOUTH — Lorraine M. Arsenault, 81, formerly of Weld Street, Dixfield, died Nov. 2, at Sedgewood Commons, after a long illness.
She was born in Rumford, Oct. 27, 1928, a daughter of Peter and Dorilda Arsenault.
She was a communicant of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church. She was past president of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, the American Legion Auxiliary, and the Le Parasseux Snow Shoe Club.
She will be remembered as a fun loving lady with a great smile, and someone who loved country music and dancing.
Surviving are her daughter, Jeannette Mason of Harpswell; her daughter-in-law, Lisa Arsenault of Portland; a sister, Theresa Gautreau; a brother, Raymond Arsenault of Florida; five grandchildren, Heather Huff and Shane Mason, Jennifer Murphy, and Stacey, and Leah Arsenault; and five great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert L. Arsenault in 1984; a son, Robert D. Arsenault in 2003; and two brothers, Fred and Joseph Arsenault.
