Election day supper

ANDOVER — The Andover
Congregational Church, UCC, Elm Street, will have a hunters’/Election
Day supper at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3.

The menu will include
casseroles, baked beans, salads and apple crisp with ice cream. The
cost will be $7 for adults; children under 12, $3.50 and children under
5, free.

Craft fair

RUMFORD — The Ladies Auxiliary of the Napoleon Ouellette Unit 24 will have their second annual craft and food fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Post 24 American Legion.

There will be local crafters, a Chinese
auction and 50/50 raffle. The Ladies Auxiliary will have coffee and soda, baked goods,
chili, corn chowder and hot dogs with all the fixings on sale.

Daughters of Isabella

RUMFORD — St. Timothy Circle 504, Daughters of Isabella, will meet at
5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, at the Holy Savior Church Hall. A
potluck supper will precede the meeting and the memorial
service for the deceased members of the Daughters of Isabella. The
committee members are Drucilla Breton, chairwoman, Patricia Hopkins,
Eileen Chiasson, Terry Umbro, Myrtle McKenna, Joan Lepage, Jean Wilson,
Vicke Kuhl and Jennifer Kreckel.

Mystery dinner

OXFORD — The Oxford County Republicans, along with Murder For Hire, will sponsor a murder mystery play and dinner, “Politics Can Be Murder,” from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov.
7, at the Oxford Rec Center.

The
cost is $50 each person and includes dinner and the audience

Teacher conferences

DIXFIELD — Dirigo High School will hold its teacher/parent/student
conferences from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12 and Monday, Nov. 16. Each conference will be held to 15 minutes.

To schedule a conference, e-mail JoAnne Weston at jweston@rsu10.org or call Dirigo High
School and ask for JoAnne. Parents should have a list of teachers they
would like to meet with when scheduling the conferences. Teachers will not be available for walk-ins. All
appointments must be made by Thursday, Nov. 12.

Class lunch

MEXICO — The Mexico High School Class of 1953 will have a class
luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, at the Covered Wagon.

Nickel beano

DIXFIELD — The Neighborly Senior Citizens will sponsor nickel beano on Wednesday, Nov. 4, at the Dixfield Legion Hall. Doors will open at noon with beano being played from 12:30 to 2:30 pm. Everyone is welcome. For more information, call Connie at 364-4189 or Carol at 364-4798.

Public supper

RUMFORD — A public roast pork supper will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at Blazing Star Lodge, Route 232, in Rumford Corner. The menu will include mashed potatoes, pork, green beans, cole slaw, stuffing, applesauce, bread, coffee, punch and pie. The cost for adult will be $8; under 12, $4. Takeouts will be available.

DIXFIELD — The River Valley Riders ATV Club will host their annual
landowner appreciation dinner at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 18, at the Webb River Valley Sportsman Club, Canton Point Road.

the number of people attending and with their choice of chicken or pork.
