LEWISTON — Floral designer Katie Gay joined Blais Flowers and Garden Center, 539 Webster St., Lewiston, earlier this year. Gay has been in the floral industry since 1998, most recently as a lead designer at Berry and Berry Floral in Hallowell.

She has designed for many Maine State Florist and Growers Association’s events, including the Maine State Agricultural Show in Augusta and an 8-day floral presentation at the Fryeburg Fair. Her abilities include wedding designs, special occasion bouquets and sympathy expressions.
