New location

WEST PARIS — The West Paris Library will offer services in the conference room at the Town Office, Kingsbury Street, during the final construction phase of its addition. The last day in the Little Castle Library will be Friday, Nov. 6, and services will be offered at the Town Office beginning Friday, Nov. 13.

The public computers will be available, as well as a wireless connection. The newest books, the DVD collection and paperbacks will be available for borrowing. The hours will be from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, from 1:30 to 6 p.m. Fridays and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays. Books and movie returns should continue to be made to the library’s drop box at the front door of the Little Castle.

Land trust program

BETHEL — A Mahoosuc Land Trust Local Knowledge Series program will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, at Trustees Auditorium, McLaughlin Science Building, Gould Academy.

Randall H. Bennett, assistant director and curator of collections at the Bethel Historical Society, will describe some of the  accomplishments of the White Mountain Club of Portland, founded in 1873, and instrumental in exploring and describing unfamiliar sections of the White Mountain region or northern New Hampshire and western Maine during the 1870s and 1880s.

The presentations are open to the public and free of charge. 

Public supper

SOUTH PARIS — The Men’s Club at First Congregational Church will host a roast pork supper from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6.
The meal will be served in the vestry of the church, 17 East Main
St. The menu will include roast pork, potatoes,
vegetable, applesauce, rolls, dessert and beverage. The cost is $8 for adults
and $4 for children under 12.

Proceeds from the meal will go to the
minister’s discretionary fund to help with fuel costs for those in need

Indoor sale

WATERFORD — An indoor yard sale will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Wilkins House, Plummer Hill. The storm date for the sale will be Nov. 14.

Church supper

NORWAY — St.
Catherine’s Catholic Church will host a public supper from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, in the church basement.

Worship service

SOUTH PARIS — Trinity Lutheran Church, 34 Buckfield Road, welcomes all to worship on Sunday, Nov. 8. The youth choir and “Making the Old Story Our
Story” will begin at 9 a.m. and worship service will start at 10:15 a.m., followed
by coffee, refreshments and fellowship.

Craft fair

NAPLES — The 19th annual Holly Berry Craft Fair, sponsored by Project Grad 2010, will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at Lake Region High School.

There will be a selection of handmade crafts and one-of-a-kind
creations. Live entertainment will be offered throughout the day. Santa
will visit from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and children may have their photos
taken with him. Children will also have an opportunity to create
ornaments. Food will be available.
