LISBON — Lisbon Community Federal Credit Union held their annual Member Appreciation Day event on Oct. 14. Those who arrived at the 325 Lisbon St. location had the opportunity to participate in a barbecue on the front lawn and a prize wheel in the lobby to win aluminum water bottles, T-shirts, money bags and green grocery bags. This year’s Member Appreciation Day focused on the 50 years that the credit union has served its members.

There was a variety of food available under a large heated tent during the barbecue. Items on the menu included burgers, chicken, salads, chips, drinks, hot dogs and homemade kettle corn. Vendors were present to serve the members while the credit union provided birthday cake.

“This day was intended to be a fun way to thank our members for their dedicated support over the past 50 years,” said Manager/Treasurer George Roy. “We viewed the event as a huge success for the Credit Union.”

Lisbon Community Federal Credit Union serves 7,250 members in the communities of Lewiston, Auburn, Durham, Lisbon, Sabattus, Bowdoin, Topsham and Pownal.
