BRUNSWICK — VSA arts of Maine invites students with a disability or with a connection to someone with a disability, to submit their works of fiction, nonfiction and poetry to the 2010 VSA arts Call for Student Writing: “EsSence.” The theme of the competition is “Essence,” and students’ writings should strive to reflect the ‘essence’ of their world, as characterized by one of the five senses.
The top entry from Maine will receive a $50 stipend and may be selected to become part of VSA arts’ online writing journal, Infinite Difference.
