Seniors club

BETHEL — The Bethel Senior Citizens Club will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, at The Cross Stone Restaurant in Woodstock, next to the Mollyockett Motel. There will be a chicken dinner for $8.

The speaker will be Wayne Howe and his topic will be Alaska. 

Homemakers

PERU — The Peru Extension Homemakers will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, at the Peru Baptist Church. Those attending are asked to bring in items for the raffle basket and something for the Thanksgiving basket. Attendees should also bring a bag lunch.

MEXICO — The Mexico High School Class of 1959 will meet at
11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, at the Far East Restaurant.

Volunteers

SOUTH PARIS — The Families in Crisis Task Force needs volunteers for the holidays. Volunteers are needed for the food
pantry and the Christmas programs. The task force is also looking for people to
bake items for holiday baskets and fundraisers. They are in
need of hats and mittens for children, teens and adults. Also needed are
volunteers to help with fundraising and the toy program.
