BETHEL — The Mollyockett Chorus will perform their fall show, “A cappella Grill,” at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, at Gould Academy, Bingham Hall.
The “A cappella Grill” menu will include the chorus singing songs from the 1930s through the 1990s and the quartet, “Meant To Be.” The “Special” will feature selections sung by students of the school.
The Mollyockett Chorus, a chapter of Sweet Adelines International, is comprised of woman of all ages from the Oxford, Androscoggin and Cumberland County areas who enjoy singing a cappella in the barbershop style. Rehearsals are held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays, in the auditorium of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Skeetfield Road, Oxford.
The Mollyockett Chorus performs regularly throughout the community, offering its talent for entertainment at civic events and charitable functions, in addition to promoting harmony and friendship among women.
