The Auburn-Lewiston YMCA has announced the Fall 2009 Group Power launch
on Wednesday, Nov. 18. Group Power is a 60-minute strength training
program that strengthens
major muscles in a group environment with music and
nationally certified instructors. With movements such as
squats, lunges, presses and curls, Group Power is for all fitness
levels. Class size is limited. Those
wishing to participate must preregister at the front desk for one of
the following classes: 9 to 10 a.m., 2:45 to 3:45 p.m. or 5:15 to 6:15
p.m. The Group Power classes on Nov. 18 are free for members and
nonmembers who would be trying a class for the first time. For more
