Marcelline A. “Marcy” Dubay

1944 – 2009

LEWISTON – Marcelline A. “Marcy” Dubay, 65, of 80 Rideout Ave., passed away on Saturday, Nov. 14, at her home.

She was born in Lewiston on Jan. 15, 1944, the daughter of the late Anatole and Blanche Rancourt Roy. She was educated in Lewiston schools, graduating from Lewiston High School in 1962.

She was married on Feb. 15, 1963, to Lawrence “Larry” Dubay. Prior to her retirement she was employed as a CNA at Marshwood Center for Health Care. Marcy was an avid reader and enjoyed caring for her pets and collecting chicken memorabilia.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Larry, of Lewiston; two daughters, Lorie Dubay of Farmington and Angela Johnston and husband, Mark, of Auburn; a son, Chip Dubay of Auburn; five grandchildren, Christopher, Hannah and Ben Johnston, Cameron and Jacob Dubay; two sisters, Alice Lever and husband, Bill, of Lewiston and Pauline Roy of Sabattus.

She was predeceased by three brothers, Norman, Roland and Jean “Pop” Roy.

Her family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice for their exceptional care, especially to Trudy, Lise and Mona Lisa.
