LEEDS — Bernard W. “Sonny” Hathaway Jr., 73, of Church Hill Road, Leeds, died Sunday, Nov. 15, at his home.

He was born May 15, 1936, in Lewiston, the son of Bernard W. Sr. and Alice Robinson Hathaway. He attended Turner schools and graduated from Leavitt Institute in 1954. While attending high school, he played on the football, basketball and baseball teams. In August of this year, Bernard attended his 55th class reunion.
