GREENE — Girl Scouts of Maine will host a parent information and
registration meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, at Greene Central
School.

Turkey raffle

AUBURN — The VFW Post 1603, 588 Minot Ave., will have a turkey raffle at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20, at the post home. All proceeds will benefit the children’s Christmas party to be held in December. For more information, call Arthur Roy at 784-6883 or the post home at 783-2561.

NORTH TURNER — The North Turner Senior Citizens will have a Christmas craft and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, at the GAR Hall, Route 219.

Travelers meeting

LEWISTON — Twin City Council 160 of the United Commercial Travelers of America and Canada will meet at 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20, at the Gridiron Restaurant for a dinner meeting. Church fair

MONMOUTH — A Christmas fair, bake sale, chili and chowder luncheon and lawn sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, at the United Church, Main Street, in the Packard Center of the church basement.
