Selling lights
LOCKE MILLS — The Jackson-Silver Unit 68, American Legion Auxiliary, is selling Christmas tree lights again this year. The Christmas tree lighting will be held following the 6 p.m. potluck supper, Thursday, Dec. 3, at the post home, Gore Road.

Open house
NORWAY — The Oxford Masonic Lodge, 9 Temple St.,
will host an open
house and public baked bean supper from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21. The cost is $7 for adults; children under 12, $4. Take outs will be available.
All are welcome to tour the lodge. Some members will be
available to answer questions.

Holiday fair
NORWAY — The St. Catherine’s Church Sodality, Main Street, will hold their annual Holiday Fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Texas hold ’em
NORWAY — The Harrison Lions Club with be hosting a Texas hold ’em
tournament on Saturday, Nov. 21, at Charlies Entertainment Center, 246
Main St. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. and the game will run from 1 to 5 p.m. There is a $55 entry fee, which includes stipend for
state license fee, and the tournament is limited to 100 players. There will be a cash bar,

Bridge play
NORWAY — The Oxford Hills Duplicate Bridge Club met Nov. 13 in the Fare Share Building, Main Street.
A 3 and 1/2 table Howell movement
was enjoyed.
Finishing first in flight A were Rosemarie Goodwin and Les Buzzell; second were Jim Fallon and Richard Worthington, who were also first in
flight B.
Third in flight A were Priscilla Rooth and Hazel Glazier who also were
second in flight B. Third in B were Beverly Pelletier and Jim Dickens. Another game will be played at 9:15 a.m. Friday, Nov. 20. All bridge players are
