FARMINGTON — Franklin Community Health Network announces that physician assistant Calli Meader has been appointed to the medical staff of Franklin Health Urology, joining lead physician Dr. Richard Batstone, a urologist and surgeon.

Meader has performed clinical rotations in rural family medicine, general surgery, internal medicine, family medicine, women’s health, emergency medicine, inpatient internal medicine and pediatrics.

She received her master’s degree in physician assistant studies in 2009 from the University of New England. Prior to that, she completed her bachelor’s degree in medical biology/pre-physician assistant studies, also at UNE.

Meader grew up in the area, graduating in 2003 from Mt. Blue High School. She was recently married and lives in Vienna.

Franklin Health Urology is on the second floor of the Franklin
Health Medical Arts Center on the campus of Franklin Memorial
Hospital. The medical practice is open Monday through Friday, 8
