LEWISTON — Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice’s office at 15 Strawberry Ave. will be a conference site on Saturday, Nov. 21, for the national video presentation sponsored by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Registration will begin at 12:15 p.m. with the national video panel starting at 12:45 p.m.

Now in its 11th year, the goal of National Survivors of Suicide Day is to connect survivors with others who have experienced this tragedy, and to provide support, healing and information.

The conference will feature remarks by a panel comprised of suicide survivors and health care and mental health professionals. It will offer emotional support and information about resources for healing.
A short discussion with local providers will follow the video presentation and if
participants wish, support sessions will be held following the
discussion period.

There is no cost to participate.
