St. Martin de Porres Residence for homeless men and women in Lewiston recognized some of its volunteers at a recent gathering. St. Martin’s relies heavily on volunteers to perform its mission of corporal works of mercy. Volunteers prepare evening meals for those in residence and staff the Bargain Basket Thrift Shop whose proceeds help fund the ministry.
