Shirley B. Warren
1926 – 2009
PHOENIX, Ariz. — Shirley Barbara (Abbott) Warren, 83, loving mother, nana, sister and friend, finished her journey in this life and returned to her Lord and Savior on Nov. 9 in Phoenix, Ariz.
She was born in Mechanic Falls, March 7, 1926. She graduated from Farmington State Teachers College and received her master’s degree from Northern Arizona University.
She taught home economics in Maine and Bagdad, Ariz. Later she was a caregiver for many people.
She is survived by her daughter, Brenda (Randall) Heath; grandchildren, Olivia (Kenny) Kothe, Paul Tarango, Sarah Tarango, William Heath and Levi Heath; great-grandchildren, Monica, Natalie and Elizabeth; a brother, Donald Abbott of Greene; and sister, Beverly (Robert) Barton of Westbrook.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph E. Warren and her parents, Ralph and Esther Abbott.
