JAY — The Daughters of Isabella Circle 677 from St. Rose of Lima held their monthly business meeting on Nov. 18, at the parish hall.
New Regent Laurie Gagnepain called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Mary Ann Allen was welcomed as a new member. A short form conferral was held.
The Christmas party was discussed and those present voted to have the party on Tuesday, Dec. 8, at LaFleur’s. A social hour will begin at 5 p.m. with dinner served at 6 p.m. After dinner, Christmas gifts will be passed out and members will discover their “mystery sister.” Members are asked to bring a canned good for the food basket.
Meal choices will be baked haddock, stuffed chicken breast or beef medallions. Call Shirley Couture, Denise Rodzen or Laurieanne Castonguay with meal choice. The cost is $16.50 each meal.
The Christmas Fair will be held on Saturday, Nov. 21, at the parish hall. Doors will open at 8 a.m.
Members were asked to bring in something for the food table or cookies for the cookie walk. For those who are able to help at the fair, Rosemary Poulson will be at the doors to let the workers in.
