LEWISTON — Funeral services were held Friday morning in the lower chapel of Saints Peter & Paul Basilica for Paul Leo Plante under the direction of the Albert & Burpee Funeral Home. Officiating was the Rev. Nathan March, who also recited prayers of committal at St. Peter’s Ceremony. Following the committal ceremony, which include an honor guard from the U.S. Navy who folded and presented a flag to the widow, family and friends gathered at the Carriage House in Lewiston in order to continue the celebration of Paul’s life.
