SOUTH PARIS — Prospective students can begin preparing for upcoming spring semester classes at Western Maine University and Community College Center, which begin in January.
Individuals can begin now to learn more about financial aid opportunities, to identify courses they may need to begin college work and to meet with an advisor to develop personalized education goals.
This January, WMUCC will offer more than 400 courses leading to dozens of degrees and certificate programs from the university system campuses. Degrees in education, health and human services, business, nursing, library science, counseling and the liberal arts can be completed locally at the center.
Western Maine University and Community College Center advisors provide career counseling and assist students with financial aid applications, course registrations, book orders, computer access and more. Financial aid is available for qualified students, as are university scholarships.
For more information about programs and courses, contact WMUCC at 743-9322 or visit www.learn.maine.edu/southparis to view a course listing.
